It’s no secret that kids love to imitate their parents. A great way to use this to your kids’ advantage is to stay active and have you kids be active with you. If being active is something that is not in your daily routine, it’s never to late to start. A good way to start is to schedule physical activities in to your day, for instance, take a walk around the block with your kid in the morning or go for a bike ride before dinner, start out with small distances and slowly increase them. Incorporating your kids in to daily activities such as yoga, walks, bike rides amongst many other exercises will greatly help to install good exercise habits in your kid which could greatly lower their risk of being overweight and encourage a strong exercise routine later in life. Consistently sticking to some kind of active schedule will greatly improve your livelihood as well as your kids.
